Questions
You meet the partner who would lead your file for an hour. You leave with a written scope and a fixed fee.
From the scope we agree at the consultation. The engagement letter states the fee before any work starts.
With your portal invitation, the day you sign the engagement letter.
An extension moves the filing date for an individual return to October 15. It does not move the date to pay, so an estimate of the tax is still due on April 15.
It shows carryovers, elections and estimated payments that affect this year. It also lets us check what was filed.
