Ashcombe & Reed, CPAs runs this website. This notice explains what the site collects and what we do with it. It does not cover the documents you send us as a client; your engagement letter and the client portal terms cover those.

What the site collects

• What you type into a form. Your name, email address, phone number and message when you request a consultation, download a checklist or subscribe to deadline reminders.
• How the site is used. Pages visited, the site that sent you and the type of browser, through analytics cookies you can refuse.

What we use it for

To reply to you, to send what you asked for, and to understand which pages are useful. We do not sell your information and we do not use it to advertise other businesses.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become engagements are deleted after two years. You can ask us to delete your details sooner.

Your choices

Email privacy@ashcombe-reed.example to see, correct or delete what we hold about you, or use the link at the foot of any email to stop receiving it.

No engagement through the site

Reading this site, sending a form or booking a consultation does not make you a client. An engagement exists only when you and a partner of the firm have signed an engagement letter, and the letter sets out what we do, what it costs and when.

Content

The articles, checklists and calendars here are written by the firm. You may print or share them for your own use with credit to the firm. Please do not republish them as your own.

Links to government sites and other resources are given for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version.

The site uses a small set of cookies.

• Necessary cookies keep forms and the cookie banner working. They cannot be switched off.
• Analytics cookies tell us which pages are read. They are set only if you accept them in the banner.
