The Riverside warehouse came across our desks twice — first as a partial demolition in 2018, then again last year as a full structural retrofit. In between, the building taught us more about adaptive reuse than any course we could have attended.

The 1923 plans turned out to be aspirational, not as-built. We now insist on a full point-cloud survey before our designers touch a thing.
