Concrete carbon: what we now ask every supplier before pouring
Cement production is responsible for roughly 8% of global CO2 emissions. As of last quarter, every concrete pour on a Meridian Build site comes with a supplier emissions disclosure attached to the project file.
The eight questions
We ask suppliers to disclose mix design, supplementary cementitious material content, transport distances, plant energy mix, and third-party verification.
