Cookie Policy

1. What This Policy Covers

This Cookie Policy explains how Studio Nope uses cookies and similar technologies on this website, what each category does, and how you can control them.

It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains more broadly how we handle personal data. Where a cookie is used to process personal data, the Privacy Policy governs that processing.

2. What Cookies Are

A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store on your device. On each later visit the browser sends it back, which lets the site recognise your session and remember choices you made.

We also use technologies that behave like cookies:

  • Local storage: Key and value data held in the browser, used here to remember interface preferences such as your selected colour scheme.
  • Pixels and tags: Small transparent images or scripts that record that a page or email was opened.
  • Session identifiers: Short-lived values that keep a single browsing session coherent across page loads.

Cookies are either session cookies, which are deleted when you close the browser, or persistent cookies, which remain until they expire or you delete them.

3. Categories of Cookies We Use

Strictly necessary. Required for the site to work. They maintain your session, balance load across servers, remember your cookie choices and protect forms against cross-site request forgery. These cannot be switched off through our banner because the site cannot function without them.

Preferences. Remember choices you make so the site behaves consistently. On this site they store the theme colour scheme you picked in a demo page and dismissals of informational notices. Blocking them means your preferences reset on every visit.

Analytics. Help us understand which demo pages are viewed, how visitors move between them, and where layouts cause confusion. The data is aggregated and used to improve the themes. Blocking them has no effect on how the site works for you.

Marketing. Used to measure whether a campaign led to a visit and to avoid showing the same message repeatedly. We keep these to a minimum and set them only with your consent.

4. Cookies Set on This Site

This site runs on HubSpot CMS, so most cookies are set by HubSpot on our behalf. The main ones are:

  • __hstc, __hssrc, __hssc, hubspotutk — HubSpot analytics cookies that identify a browser across visits and tie form submissions to a session. Lifetimes range from the browsing session up to six months.
  • __cf_bm, __cfruid — Cloudflare bot management and routing cookies, strictly necessary, expiring within 30 minutes or at the end of the session.
  • __hs_cookie_cat_pref — Records the cookie categories you consented to, so the banner is not shown again.
  • __hs_opt_out — Records that you asked not to be tracked, so we do not ask again.
  • messagesUtk — Identifies a visitor who uses a chat widget, so a conversation can continue across pages.

Exact names and lifetimes are set by the platform and can change when HubSpot updates its tracking code. Your browser developer tools will always show the current, authoritative list for your session.

5. Third Parties

Some cookies are set by services we embed rather than by us directly:

  • HubSpot — hosting, forms, analytics and chat
  • Cloudflare — content delivery and bot protection
  • Google Fonts — web font delivery, where a theme loads fonts from that service
  • Video providers — where a demo page embeds a player, that provider may set cookies once the player loads

We do not control these cookies. Each provider publishes its own cookie and privacy documentation, and we recommend reading it if you want the full detail.

6. Your Choices

You can control cookies in several ways:

  • Consent banner: On your first visit you can accept or decline non-essential categories. You can reopen the banner at any time from the cookie settings link in the footer.
  • Browser settings: Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies, either entirely or per site. The help pages for Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge each explain how.
  • Private browsing: A private or incognito window discards cookies when you close it.
  • Do Not Track: Where your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to decline non-essential cookies.

Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break forms, sessions and security checks. Blocking any other category is safe.

7. How Long Cookies Last

Session cookies are removed when you close the browser. Persistent cookies on this site expire between 30 minutes and 13 months from the point they are set or last refreshed, depending on their purpose. Analytics identifiers are the longest lived; security and routing cookies are the shortest.

Deleting cookies in your browser removes them immediately, whatever their stated expiry.

8. Changes to This Policy

We update this policy when we add or remove a service that sets cookies, or when the platform changes what it sets. Material changes are reflected in the date at the top of this page, and where consent is affected we will ask for it again.

9. Contact Us

If you have a question about how this site uses cookies, or want help exercising a choice described above, email us and we will respond within two business days.
