PawCare is a neighborhood clinic for dogs, cats, and small companions. We keep visits unhurried so we can examine each pet carefully and explain what we find in plain language.

Thorough wellness exams

A full nose-to-tail check at every visit, with time to answer your questions and plan ahead.

Fear-free handling

Gentle techniques and unhurried visits keep dogs and cats calm from the waiting room to the exam table.

Preventive care first

Vaccines, dental checks, and early screening that catch problems before they turn serious.

Lead Veterinarian

Dr. Elena Hart, DVM

Dr. Elena Hart has practiced small-animal medicine for more than fifteen years, the last several here in Portland. She opened PawCare to build the kind of clinic she would want for her own pets: unhurried visits, clear explanations, and gentle handling for animals who would rather be anywhere else.

Her clinical focus is feline medicine and preventive care — the everyday work of keeping dogs and cats healthy and catching problems early. She leads a team that treats every patient as part of a family.
