Common questions about care
Planning a first visit or booking care for your pet? Here are answers to the questions we hear most. Call or email us if yours isn't covered.
Request an appointment online or give us a call, and we'll set up your pet's record before the first visit. If your pet has been seen elsewhere, we'll ask you to send or sign a release for their medical history so we have the full picture.
Bring any previous medical and vaccination records, a list of current medications and food, and a recent stool sample if you have one. Keep dogs on a leash and cats in a carrier so everyone stays calm in the waiting area.
We accept all major credit cards, debit, and cash, with payment due at the time of service. We work with most pet insurance providers; we'll give you an itemized invoice to submit for reimbursement, and we're happy to provide an estimate before any procedure.
If your pet needs urgent care while we're closed, call our main line and our recorded message will direct you to the nearest 24-hour emergency hospital. During open hours, call ahead and we'll see sick and injured pets as soon as possible.
Puppies and kittens follow a vaccine series every few weeks until about 16 weeks of age. Adult dogs and cats are due for boosters every one to three years depending on the vaccine and your pet's lifestyle. We'll set a schedule that fits your pet at their wellness exam.
