Built on conviction, not convention
Dominique Noir started Atelier Noire in 2018 from a Brooklyn loft with a single belief: that spaces should do more than function — they should make you feel something. No portfolio. No clients. Just an unshakeable conviction that design could be more human.
Eight years and 150 projects later, that belief hasn't changed. It's just been proven right — in penthouses, restaurants, galleries, and homes across 30 cities.

Our studio is a workshop, not a showroom. Material libraries line the walls. Scale models occupy every surface. Architects sit next to artists, and strategists argue with sculptors.
It's messy by design — because the best work doesn't come from pristine desks. It comes from collision, from accident, from the unexpected conversation between a slab of Calacatta marble and a swatch of hand-dyed linen.
