Our Promise

We pledge to always put the community first. That means being leaders in environmental, social, and economic sustainability — and reporting publicly on the work, the goals, and the gaps.

Metrics and Goals

Six commitments, measured every year

  • Sustainability

50% reduction in lifecycle carbon across our portfolio by 2030. Quarterly reporting tied to design decisions.

  • Climate Change

Renewable-powered jobsites by 2027. Embodied carbon thresholds in every spec.

  • Carbon Emissions

    Scope 1 + 2 net-zero by 2030. Scope 3 transparency by 2026 with named suppliers.

  • Waste Management

90% diversion from landfill on every project. Reuse hierarchies in tender documents.

  • Community Impact

20% of trade hours sourced locally. Apprenticeships ring-fenced on every project over $20m.

  • Walker Foundation

1% of profits to community groups in the cities where we build. Member of Pledge 1%.

Sustainability

Designing the lower-carbon path

Every project starts with a lifecycle assessment. We model material, transport, and energy carbon side-by-side with cost — and use the model to drive design decisions, not justify them after the fact.

Climate Change

Resilient by design

Our buildings have to last 50 years in the climate of 2080, not 2025. We design for 100-year flood maps, heatwaves at the 99th percentile, and grid intermittency — and we share the assumptions with every client.

Community Impact

Built for the people who live here

Local hire targets, apprenticeship pipelines, public engagement plans — written into the contract, tracked monthly, audited annually. The site is never the only thing we leave behind.
